The Dress That Broke The Internet

Remember The Dress? That viral moment that had everyone debating what color they saw?

It’s a perfect example of how perception shapes belief, and why we all see the world a little differently.

Millions debated the color, but here's what made it fascinating: Most people couldn't see it the other way, no matter how hard they tried.

It wasn't just about color, it was about perception -- And how our brains are wired to make sense of the world based on past experience.

Neuroscientist Pascal Wallisch discovered that how we perceive The Dress depends on our brain's assumptions about its lighting.

Those who saw it as white and gold had spent more time in natural light.

Those who saw it as black and blue were exposed to more artificial light.

In other words: Our environment shapes what we see. And that's true far beyond optical illusions.

As a coach, I've spent over a decade helping people change not just their behavior, but their perspective.

Here's what I've learned: People don't change when they're lectured, implored with facts, or when they're shamed.

They change when they feel safe enough to get curious about their own beliefs and start to think differently.

    Real change begins with:
    → Feeling heard
    → Asking better questions
→ Exploring the why behind your beliefs

The Dress showed us how perception works.

Coaching can help you shift yours from the inside out -- guided by curiosity, not correction.
