I'm Sonja -- Your super organized BFF who can help you turn your ideas into income through the power of strategic systems, small steps, and mindset shifts that help you run your coaching practice like a business.
I bring 14 years of experience in coaching, behavior change, and business systems to intentional and impact-driven coaches.
I've worked alongside the CEOs of 3 successful startups and have helped executive teams strategize and scale their businesses while being involved in everything from product design to branding to marketing to sales to operations.
Thinking strategically, setting up systems, and getting organized is my thing. I'm here to lend my strategic planning and project management skills to your business so you can trade uncertainty for strategy and stress for execution.
Struggle to turn your expertise into a clear, sellable offer
Can’t get traction on messaging that resonates with clients
Feel overwhelmed by systems, marketing, and operations
Find yourself spinning your wheels instead of signing clients
Feel like an imposter when you try to market yourself
If that hits home, you’re exactly who The Business Edit is for.
❌ Online courses from Instagram influencers who make wild income claims that sound too good to be true (because they are)
❌ Downloading freebies that promise to teach you the "secret" of running a business, but don't deliver any real value
❌ Hiring a business "coach" who tells you to manifest the outcome, think positive, and try harder
❌ Expensive group programs where you feel like a number and never get answers to your specific questions
I take a different approach. I'm here to help you build a strategy for your coaching business — and prove to yourself that with the right systems in place, you can grow a successful coaching practice. Here's what we'll do together:
✔️ Clarify your unique positioning, problem statement, and ideal client
✔️ Design offers that sell (pricing, structure, systems, and all)
✔️ Build operational systems that actually work
✔️ Create messaging that drives trust and conversions
✔️ Execute your plan with accountability and clarity
✔️ Start thinking about yourself like a business owner
Most coaches who are starting a business think they need a firm business plan, a done-for-you template, or a big transformation to grow their business. But I think that’s a big part of what keeps coaches stuck.
Here, we treat your life and your business like something that's editable. Together, we'll use my coaching framework, EDIT (Experiment, Design, Implement, Trust), to help you move from stress to strategy, think like a business owner, and gain confidence about yourself and your skills in the process. We'll experiment and test, design better systems, implement what you're learning in real time, and rebuild trust in your ability to course-correct.
The Business Edit is a flexible and personalized framework that evolves with your life and your business. Throughout our sessions, I'll combine my coaching skills, project management skills, and strategic consulting skills into a unique coaching package that will help you bring your business to life. This isn't just a coaching session, it's rolling up our sleeves and doing the work together.
Here's some of what we can do during our time working together (though the agenda is always led by you):
Learn how to think like an entrepreneur
Figure out the details of your website or your coach profile
Work on your marketing messaging
Develop a project management system to help you stay on track
Outline your content strategy for the year so posting doesn't feel like a hassle
Plan out content for a webinar or a course and execute on bringing it to life
Design a brand kit and marketing strategy in Canva
Come up with a pitch strategy and develop your sales skills
Anything else you can think of to help your business grow.
You've always dreamed of running a coaching business and it's time to make it happen.
You set goals and often start new habits around building your business, but you struggle to follow through.
You're into the idea of being a business owner who thinks strategically.
You understand that running a business is not the same as being a coach.
You're ready to set up some structure and systems and stop spinning your wheels.
You're looking for generic mindset pep talks, surface-level motivation, and high-energy hype.
You want a rigid one-size-fits-all routine to follow and you like being told exactly what to do.
You're looking for corporate-obsessed efficiency and productivity coaching.
You're not ready to commit to the process of thinking like a business owner.
You're not ready to challenge yourself
Good question -- I'm glad you asked. I currently run a coaching, consulting, and teaching business that I grew from a side-hustle into a successful business through hard work, consistency, and authenticity. The Business Edit is the way I help shortcut the process for other coaches who are looking to do the same. It combines the structure, accountability, strategy, and support I wish I had access to when I started growing a business.
I bring 14 years of experience in coaching, behavior change, and business systems to intentional impact-driven coaches. My experience includes:

I’ve spent the last decade studying how humans change, how habits truly stick, how identity evolves, and how people can ditch self-limiting beliefs and finally make their dreams a reality.
I've worked alongside the CEOs of 3 successful startups and have helped executive teams strategize and scale their businesses while being involved in everything from product design to branding to marketing to sales to operations.

Yes! I charge a rate for my coaching packages that is commensurate to my depth of experience and that represents the value a coaching package brings to my clients' lives.
However, financial accessibility is deeply important to me and I fully understand that these rates might not be within reach for everyone. If that's you, please don't hesitate to let me know and we'll figure something out together.
There are a LOT of "coaches" out there - Not all of them are qualified to help you figure out the details of your life.
Coaching is a skill, not just a catchy job title. A coach's goal should always be to help elicit your inner wisdom so you can figure out what works for your life -- Not to push their own agenda.
Here's the scoop on what to look out for:
I value creating spaces where all people feel a sense of belonging, so it's important to me that you never have to wonder whether you belong here. No matter your race, age, sex, gender, size, religion, physical abilities, cognition, and/or learning style, you are welcome to show up as your authentic self in this space. While I don't believe that safety can be assumed or announced, I want you to know that this is a trauma-informed and trust-forward business where I will always prioritize building safer spaces.
My work is rooted in a deep belief that every human being is capable of learning, growing, and changing. I wholeheartedly believe that we're capable of creating a world that feels safe, inclusive, and peaceful for everyone. In my business and life, that looks like unapologetically prioritizing inclusive, intersectional, feminist, climate-forward, science-backed, and pro-DEI agendas.
I donate 1% of my business' revenue to organizations that support these causes, so if this isn't your vibe, then we're probably not a good fit.
The distinction between Coaching and Therapy can be tricky to understand. Check out this video to hear my thoughts on the difference.
It is my responsibility to ensure that I stay within my scope of practice as your coach. I may make a referral to a therapist or another provider if I do not feel that your concerns are within the scope of my coaching practice.
